We are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated individual to work as a Tax-Free Administrator delivering fully comprehensive and high-quality Tax-Free services at our exciting new operation at Frankfurt Airport (FRA).   Frankfurt Airport is Germany’s largest passenger airport, it is also one of Europe’s busiest airports with the new Terminal 3 set to open this year to further increase passenger capacity.  It is the main hub for the German airline, Lufthansa.

Key responsibilities:

• Reconcile tax free reporting after each day to ensure accurate payments by tax free provider.

• Provide clear explanations of VAT refund procedures and timelines.

• Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently.

• Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date.

• Maintain all relevant word documents, excel spreadsheets and other bespoke documents as required.

• Liaise with Tax Free providers where necessary.

• Resolve administrative problems and enquiries.

• Open, sort and investigate incoming chargebacks.

• Manage local maintenance issues for the software used by tax free providers

• Ensure the office is organised and kept tidy and presentable at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, finance, or airport operations preferred

• Highly organised

• Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy

• Confident handling financial transactions

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems

• Fluency in English/German required and additional languages are an advantage

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
