Prosegur Change, a leading global provider in foreign currency exchange, is actively seeking a motivated and committed individual to take on the role of Treasurer in our operation at Frankfurt Airport.   Germany’s largest passenger airport, Frankfurt Airport is also one of Europe’s busiest airports with the new Terminal 3 set to open this year to further increase passenger capacity.  It is the main hub for the German airline, Lufthansa.

Job Purpose:

As Treasurer at Prosegur Change, you will play a critical role in maximising the profit from our stock of currencies, monitoring stock levels to maximise efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of cash in alignment with operational needs.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximising profit from stock of currencies by selecting the best rates from a range of wholesalers. 

• Converting all opportunities by continually calling-in customers and closing the deal to maximise the full potential of each enquiry/transaction.           

• Maintaining stocks of local currency, foreign notes and all sundry items in line with business demands.

• Monitoring currency turnover in all branches and making recommendations on stock holding based on demand.

• Ensuring ATM machines are stocked and operational at all times.

• Maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

• Adhering to Prosegur Change’s customer service policy, providing exemplary levels of service in all areas including acknowledging customers when in a customer facing environment.

• Ordering stocks of local coins on a weekly basis.

• Producing branch rate sheet on a daily basis.

• Monitoring rate fluctuation on a daily basis and amending rates when necessary.

• Reconciliation of all transfers between branches and wholesalers on a daily basis.

• Maintaining accurate records for all wholesale external transactions and credit cards.

• Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports to create historic data.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience in a Treasury role or working in a similar or related field.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.   

• Experience of working in a busy, customer-facing environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build positive relationships.

• Committed to ensuring customer service is a priority.

• Highly accurate and thorough attention to detail.

• Self-motivated, energetic and able to adhere to procedures.

• Strong IT skills in relation to the role.

• Ability to work under pressure.
